Itinerary
Your journey begins as you arrive in the vibrant capital city of Lima. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our team and transferred to your hotel. As you settle in, you'll get your first taste of the city’s unique mix of colonial charm and modern energy. Lima, also known as the "City of Kings," is renowned for its historical significance, culinary wonders, and beautiful coastal landscapes. Depending on your arrival time, the rest of the day is yours to explore the city at your own pace or simply relax after your flight. Whether you prefer a leisurely stroll through Miraflores, a sunset view over the Pacific Ocean, or a first encounter with Lima's world-class cuisine, you'll have plenty of options to start your adventure.

Start your second day with an enriching city tour of Lima’s historical center, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After breakfast, visit the Plaza Mayor, where the Government Palace and Lima Cathedral stand as majestic reminders of the city’s colonial past. Walk through the streets that tell the story of Lima's foundation, learning about the city’s cultural and political significance. In the afternoon, head to the renowned Larco Museum, home to an impressive collection of pre-Columbian art and artifacts. The museum offers a fascinating insight into Peru's ancient civilizations, and its beautiful gardens and café provide the perfect place to unwind.

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Lima to Paracas. Start the day with a scenic boat tour of the Ballestas Islands, where you’ll encounter a variety of wildlife, including sea lions, penguins, and seabirds. Next, explore the Paracas National Reserve, known for its dramatic desert landscapes and rich marine biodiversity. Afterward, continue to the oasis of Huacachina, where you'll enjoy thrilling sandboarding and dune buggy rides across the towering sand dunes. Spend the night in the nearby city of Ica, where you can relax after an action-packed day.

Continuing with our trip we will travel from Ica to the city of Nazca, where you'll board a small plane for an unforgettable overflight of the mysterious Nazca Lines—massive ancient geoglyphs etched into the desert, visible only from the sky. After the flight, enjoy a brief exploration of Nazca before heading back to Lima in the afternoon, concluding this short but exciting journey. The tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel in Lima.

A set time pick up from your hotel in Lima and transfer to the airport to flight to Puerto Maldonado.
Arriving in Puerto Maldonado, capital of Madre de Dios, join the transfer of 1 hour by bus and one hour by boat to the lodge. Your first tasting of our Amazonian cuisine will be during the boat trip, while you leave the city behind and enjoy the incredible landscapes during the tour.

In the Amazon, we take advantage of the first lights of the day, which is when there is more wildlife activity, even if you are on vacation, our guides will encourage you to get up very early to embark on the adventure!
Lake Tres Chimbadas, thirty minutes by boat and forty-five minutes from Posada Amazonas, is an expedition that you should not miss! We will sail on a catamaran in search of wildlife such as the hoatzin or Shansho who is said to be a prehistoric bird! Alligators, the kingfisher among other species, if we are lucky, we will be able to observe a family of giant river wolves that inhabit its waters (seen by 60% of visitors to the lake).
Very close to the lodge there is a hiding place that allows us to observe the parrot clay; from about twenty meters away, where dozens of parrots and parakeets descend almost every morning to eat clay, which provides them with the precious sodium they need for their digestion.
Centro Ñape Communal organization that produces natural medicine with forest plants, has a small medical center where they are administered to local people. You can walk the trails where the different plants and their healing properties are shown and explained.
You will have the opportunity of a night walk in the middle of the forest, it is incredible the number of different sounds that can be heard in nature at this time of day. Many mammals are active currently but are rarely seen. Much easier to find are the tiny frogs.

Discover Amazing Tropical Plants: At the jungle farm, you’ll get to find out how your favorite tropical foods are grown, and you’ll discover entirely new foods! Farmers will explain how and why they organically grow a great variety of crops. Finally, you get to see, smell, touch, and taste fruits you’ve never even heard of, like Copuazu, “Fish-eye” Chilis, and Cocona.
Traditional kitchen Ese Eja. Patarascha is a traditional dish of the native Amazonian communities. It is about cooking fish in a bijao leaf (plantain family) seasoned with local elements such as sachaculantro. Through this culinary experience, you will be able to know, touch, smell, and learn to prepare a traditional dish with local elements.
Ceiba Trees are miraculous in every way. The trees’ softwood protects them from loggers, who look for more durable wood types, and Ceibas’ fast growth rate helps them rise to immense proportions. As you’ll see, this tree’s buttressed root system stretches so far, it would take 50 people holding hands to encircle it! When you arrive at the massive tree, you’ll discover Ceiba’s historical and spiritual significance for native peoples throughout the Amazon

Our expedition came to an end after having a wonderful time in the middle of the forest and have interact with a lot of animals. We will return to the airport for your domestic flight.

Been in Cusco, the UNESCO World Heritage city nestled in the Andes. We will embark on a comprehensive city tour. Visit the Cusco Cathedral, the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), and the impressive ruins surrounding the city, including Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. These sites showcase the advanced architecture and religious importance of the Inca Empire.

Start the day with a visit to Chinchero, a traditional Andean village known for its colorful textiles and markets. Next, explore the unique Maras salt mines, where salt has been harvested since Inca times. Then, head to Moray, a fascinating site of circular terraces believed to be an ancient agricultural laboratory. After a buffet lunch in a beautiful setting, visit the Ollantaytambo Fortress, an iconic Inca archaeological site featuring terraces, temples, and impressive stonework. The site also played a significant role during the Spanish conquest.

After breakfast, board the Peru Rail Vistadome train service for a scenic ride through the Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes. From there, a bus will take you up to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. Explore this ancient citadel with a guided tour that reveals the history, architecture, and mysteries of this world wonder. Take in the panoramic views and marvel at the ingenuity of the Inca Empire. Afterward, enjoy a buffet lunch in Aguas Calientes before taking the train back to Cusco.
