Itinerary
Your journey begins as you arrive in the vibrant capital city of Lima. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our team and transferred to your hotel. As you settle in, you'll get your first taste of the city’s unique mix of colonial charm and modern energy. Lima, also known as the "City of Kings," is renowned for its historical significance, culinary wonders, and beautiful coastal landscapes. Depending on your arrival time, the rest of the day is yours to explore the city at your own pace or simply relax after your flight. Whether you prefer a leisurely stroll through Miraflores, a sunset view over the Pacific Ocean, or a first encounter with Lima's world-class cuisine, you'll have plenty of options to start your adventure.

Start your second day with an enriching city tour of Lima’s historical center, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After breakfast, visit the Plaza Mayor, where the Government Palace and Lima Cathedral stand as majestic reminders of the city’s colonial past. Walk through the streets that tell the story of Lima's foundation, learning about the city’s cultural and political significance. In the afternoon, head to the renowned Larco Museum, home to an impressive collection of pre-Columbian art and artifacts. The museum offers a fascinating insight into Peru's ancient civilizations, and its beautiful gardens and café provide the perfect place to unwind.

We begin our tour through the traditional Yanahuara neighborhood with narrow streets. We find the Mirador, which has nine arches and has an extraordinary view of the city and its volcanoes. We continue to the Mirador de Carmen Alto, from where you can see the terraces or platforms that date back to the pre-Inca and Inca era, and there are many orchards and fruit trees. Continuing towards Incalpaca, its outlet offers the highest quality alpaca export garments; it also has a mini zoo where varieties of South American camelids such as llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and guanacos are exhibited. We pass through the district of Sachaca, where you can see the Goyeneche Palace and the Tingo Spa. We then arrive at the Founder's Mansion, a colonial house now converted into a museum housing beautiful piece of art, furniture from various periods, various collectibles and a lot of history. Continuing towards the Molino de Sabandía, a historic monument where you can see the techniques used to process wheat. On the way back to the city, you pass through Paucarpata, where you can appreciate the beautiful terraces.

As you drive through the Andean landscape, you’ll pass quaint villages, alpaca herds, and breathtaking views of snow-capped volcanoes. Along the way, stop at various viewpoints to admire the stunning scenery and acclimatize to the higher altitudes. Arrive at your accommodation in Colca, where you can unwind in thermal baths or explore the picturesque village.

This is a highlight of the Colca experience, as these giant birds glide gracefully in their natural habitat. Afterward, continue through the valley, stopping in the village of Chivay before heading to Puno. Enjoy the stunning Andean landscapes as you travel across the Altiplano to reach your hotel in Puno by evening.

These islands are made entirely of totora reeds, and you’ll learn about the Uros people’s way of life. From there, visit the island of Taquile, famous for its traditional textile arts and rich cultural heritage. The island offers beautiful landscapes and panoramic views of the lake. After a day full of cultural immersion, return to Puno for a restful night.

On Day 8, fly to the heart of the Inca Empire: Cusco. After a smooth transfer from your Lima hotel to the airport, board your flight to this UNESCO World Heritage city nestled in the Andes. Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a comprehensive city tour. Visit the Cusco Cathedral, the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), and the impressive ruins surrounding the city, including Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. These sites showcase the advanced architecture and religious importance of the Inca Empire. Take the rest of the evening to acclimate to Cusco’s altitude.

Day 6 takes you on an unforgettable journey through the Sacred Valley. Start the day with a visit to Chinchero, a traditional Andean village known for its colorful textiles and markets. Next, explore the unique Maras salt mines, where salt has been harvested since Inca times. Then, head to Moray, a fascinating site of circular terraces believed to be an ancient agricultural laboratory. After a buffet lunch in a beautiful setting, visit the Ollantaytambo Fortress, an iconic Inca archaeological site featuring terraces, temples, and impressive stonework. The site also played a significant role during the Spanish conquest.

Today is the highlight of your trip – a full-day tour to breathtaking Machu Picchu. After breakfast, board the Peru Rail Vistadome train for a scenic ride through the Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes. From there, a bus will take you up to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. Explore this ancient citadel with a guided tour that reveals the history, architecture, and mysteries of this world wonder. Take in the panoramic views and marvel at the ingenuity of the Inca Empire. Afterward, enjoy a buffet lunch in Aguas Calientes before to enjoy the rest of the day on you own.

Early morning visit Waynapicchu at the indicated time they should go immediately to the access to Waynapicchu, the entrance is from according the availability, be careful, the schedule is very strict. The time between going up and going down to Waynapicchu is approximately 3 hours, the ascent is on your own, without a guide. After visiting one of the most impressive constructions by the Incas you can have lunch in one of the nearest restaurants located underneath the Citadel of Machupicchu.
The rest of the day is free to do some shopping in the afternoon, we take you to the train station to go to Ollantaytambo by Vistadome service of Peru Rail. After arrival we take a bus to take us to the city of Cusco
