ITINERARY
At an agreed time we will go through your hotel to pick you up and begin our adventure through the City of Lima.
ANCESTRAL LIMA We begin our tour with a panoramic view of the "Pucllana Pyramid", a magnificent ceremonial and archaeological center built in the 4th century AD. and considered "sacred town" by the Incas.
COLONIAL LIMA We visit the Historic Center of Lima, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, highlighting the Paseo de la Republica, the Plaza San Martín, the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the city among others.
We will visit the SAN FRANCISCO MONUMENTAL COMPLEX, which constitutes the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. The visit to its underground crypts known as "Catacombs" stands out.
Then we will visit Casa Aliaga, a construction that has been maintained over time together with the founding of Lima, on January 18, 1535.
Captain Jerónimo de Aliaga y Ramírez, received a plot of land next to the house of the conquistador Francisco Pizarro (now the Government Palace). From then until today, the descendants of Captain Aliaga have continued to inhabit the house, thus becoming the oldest house in the Americas, which has been the home of the same family for 17 generations.
CONTEMPORARY LIMA We will visit the most traditional residential areas of Lima, El Olivar de San Isidro, Miraflores and Larcomar.
